The Green Explorer vessels have three full-height decks (min. 2.2m). The two upper decks have unusually bright, natural lighted interiors. On the living (middle) deck the natural light is provided by 28 over-sized port lights – each equipped with 25mm safety glass and 8mm stainless steel storm covers – and 8 overhead skylights. The brightness of the interiors is further enhanced by using bright maple woods. Artificial lighting overall is provided by ultra energy-efficient mood-lighting and dim-able LEDs.
The living deck has a bright main salon with overall height of 2.7m or 9ft with direct access to the spacious hydraulic swimming platform, which also serves as a convenient embarkation area for the expedition and landing zodiacs. This deck has four large double guest staterooms with en-suite bathrooms and private infrared saunas. The crew area in the bow has two double and one single crew cabin with private bathrooms.
Contains a large, full 360° panoramic view wheelhouse as well as two spacious open air cockpits. All decking is made with Flexiteek, an incredible teak look- and feel-alike, which is non-slip – even when wet. The gunwale height is 50cm and the bulwark incl. handrails 100cm.
Four Dining Options:
The owners and their guests have the choice of four dining scenarios, each seating 12+ diners: On the living deck, the 26sqm main salon with a ceiling height of 2.7m (9ft), offers views through the 7 large port lights; in the 26sqm wheel house, big opening windows ensure 360°, unobstructed panoramic views, while still in the comfort of the yacht’s interior. Finally and externally, at the large dining table in the main aft outdoor cockpit and around the open-air saltwater jacuzzi table in the fore-deck lounging area.
Machinery and Tankage Deck:
A full-height lower deck, dedicated to machinery, tankage, equipment and stowage, runs through the length of the vessel on top of the keel. Your GES vessel is divided into 8 watertight compartments.
Energy Efficiency and Full Functional Luxury:
The design, construction, equipment and the interior decoration emphasizes energy-efficiency and functional luxury. These features enable the zero-emission GES vessels to explore remote “Ends of the World” for prolonged periods without having to burn any fuel.
